- Are you struggling to attend regular yoga classes?
- Are you recovering from an injury?
- Are you recovering from an illness?
- Want to take it outside but don’t feel ready to go alone?
- Do you feel like your brain goes in too many circles to really concentrate in a group setting?
- Or do you simply prefer to enjoy yoga in a small group where you can go at your own pace to a sequence built specifically to you?
One-to-one, one-to-two or small-group-sessions can do wonders for your practice, whether you’re starting from the beginning, trying to work on a certain area of the body, or simply because you’re keen to make time for your body and mind to unwind in the chaos of London.
I teach a handful of private yoga students who simply enjoy practising on a one-to-one and one-to-two basis. It fits their diaries and their routines, and means they don’t have to miss their weekly yoga fix because of work/children/family/fatigue/injury. I also teach a couple of Runners, who as beginner-yogis, found group yoga classes intimidating because as you runners will now know, limber hamstrings don’t come naturally to the pavement-pounders!
The benefit of having your own private yoga session is that the yoga sequences are 100% bespoke. Sessions are built depending on the student’s experience, confidence, injuries, niggles and bodies. It’s like a yoga class that’s just for you!
No interruptions, no competition and (mostly) no need to leave your front room. Can you imagine – you get to sweat in private and then enjoy a delicious calm savasana, in your own home?
You’ll be able to learn poses that work for your body (and your injury/illness/limitations) which you’ll then always have up your sleeve.
Location is flexible; I can come to you, or within reason, you can come to me (N8, London). All you need in enough room for your mat. Not even mine so don’t be put off if your home is, well, London-sized 🙂 In the summer months, we can go outside. Either in your garden or a local park ~ the sky is my favourite studio ceiling!
Equipment can be provided so don’t be put off if you don’t have the gear.
Lastly, if you and a few friends fancy sharing the experience, and ultimately, the bill, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
