Do you love backbends?
Backbends are brilliant, but only when practised safely. Backbends – anything from Sphinx pose to full Wheel – require open hips, open shoulders and spinal strength. Warming up your body in the correct way to gently open and strengthen the areas most used, makes spinal bends accessible to those who might assume otherwise, and eventually, backbends can be liberating, invigorating and extremely freeing.
